I have been looking for a work from home job. It’s hard to sort out the legit companies from the many scams out there. What is the best place to look? Any recommendations?

Be careful with the make tons of money opportunities working from home programs you see online. I’ll tell you, you will not make thousands per week working only a few hours a week. If you want to make money, you have to be willing to work a bit. Remember, there is no such thing as a free lunch.
I work full time but wanted to supplement my income somehow online. I read all of the get rich schemes but they are all scams. Then I found this opportunity called "Build a Niche Store". It’s called BANS for short. How it works is you purchase this software package (for a minimal cost) and build your own website stores around a niche of your chosing (something you are interested in selling online). You also sign up to be an eBay affiliate. Then when you build your site and drive traffic to it, you will get a 50% commission on the ebay sales that you help generate via your store (which is essentially a front end to ebay). The nice thing about the softare is that once you buy it, you can creat as many store as you want. The more stores you build, the more money you make. I have two store up and running right now and they both are making a decent monthly income. Not enough to live on, but definitely enough to pay some bills. My goal is to have 10-12 store up and running by the end of the year. With these stores, you will get what you put into it. If you don’t work at improving the sites and marketing them, you will not get traffic. The key is to get traffic.

I’ve been in your shoes too and have been scammed by several companies out there.
Most companies do not offer work from home positions and they are far and few between. You can however learn to harness the Internet to sell and market products for other companies and make a good commission.
Check out Clickbank.com and CJ.com. Both work companies that are looking for affiliates to market and sell their products. These companies take care of the inventory, shipping, billing and customer service. But always make sure.
I will list a couple of good books to read but go to your local book store and do some research first. As some of the other people have stated, beware of the cons out there that just want to take your money and run!
Now the most challenging part is the branding and marketing of the products you are going to sell. This is where you need some good sound advice or a mentor.
I am currently working with http://www.maverickmoneymakerorg.com where they show me through video tutorials how to do everything on the Internet from start to finish. They even have some products and programs you can promote and they will help you step by step. Again, this is not for everyone and you need to be patient at first. As you learn it becomes easier and easier to make money online.

I’ve never been able to find a work from home job like data entry or online surveys which allowed me to make a real income.
But this is what I do – I usually buy 200 items on ebay for 1cent each every week, all these items are sold with free postage worldwide. So if you just buy 5 items, total cost to you in just 5cent.
These ipod covers, cables etc are shipped from Hong Kong and China, but once they’re delivered, you can then resell them yourself on ebay for $1 to $2 to people in your own country.
My blog shows how to find these 1cent items on ebay, using the advanced search. There’s no need to spend more than 5c per item as there’s thousands of items listed like this, so if you get outbid on one auction, just wait a few minutes until the next auction is ended.

It is possible to work from home and this is not a scam
It is a marketing referral business and pays you £100 +for referring business to their services. They offer business advice, training, accountancy services, tax e.t.c.
As long as you are able to work hard and you know how much you need extra per period, you should be fine.
